The 16.7 inch (42.4 cm) L86 HARP gun in Barbados. This particular configuration is actually two 16 inch naval guns joined end-to-end, with outer reinforcements to prevent "sagging" during raising and lowering. Also, the interal rifling was milled out to create a smooth bore barrel.

If a little gun system like the 5-incher on the previous page in fig. 4a-d has orbital capabilities, just imagine what a 16-inch bore work-horse like this baby can accomplish.
