Our current Board includes:

Parker E.C. Bradley, C.E.O., & Founder

Attended Western Illinois University (WIU), with the support of a Swim Team Scholarship and a Speech Team Scholarship -- B.S. Physics. Graduate Work in Physics, WIU. Graduate work in Aerospace Engineering, Syracuse University. Graduate Research Fellow for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) at Rome Labs. While at WIU, designed and built a high powered solenoid-type propulsion system. Founder of serveral successful small businesses, and over a decade of experience in independent technical consulting and contracting -- ranging from computer programming & network system administration, to electronic circuit design & construction, and prototype development.

Retired Police Officer and District Attorney Investigator. Member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors of Boys Town. Was a member of a Long Range Recon Patrol Unit in Vietnam for the Army -- Honorably Discharged.

 

Lonnie Sumpter

(Mr. Sumpter Passed away Feb. 13, 2007. He will be sorely missed)

Currently Director of the New Mexico Spaceport Authority.

Over 30 years experience as an engineer, manager, and corporate executive. He currently serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board of General Kinematics Corporation (GKC). GKC, co-founded by Mr. Sumpter in 1996, is a rapidly growing and highly diversified international corporation with principal offices and subordinate operating locations in both North and South America. GKC business lines include aerospace engineering, natural resources, technology development and business consulting.

Prior to forming GKC, Mr. Sumpter was Vice President and General Manager for Coleman Research Corporation's (CRC) Southwest Division.

The first 16 years of Mr. Sumpter's career were spent at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in the engineering development and flight test of missile systems.

He serves on the board of Directors for several organizations including the Southwest Space Task Force, The Southern New Mexico High Tech Consortium and the Technology Industries Association. He serves on the State's steering committee for the National Science Foundation's EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research) program. Mr. Sumpter also serves as the Senior Technical Advisor to the National Coalition of Spaceport States

Dr. John F. Schaefer, Sr.

MSEE Stanford University (1963). PhD. Eletrical Engineering, Stanford (1965). Retired USAF (LtCol. 1979) and retired EE Professor (1999) from Mercer University in Macon, Ga. 21 year career in R&D. Established the Southwest Regional Experiment Station for solar energy systems. Commercial Pilot.

Jim Davidson, MBA
Business & Activism

Mr. Davidson has a wide range of experience in business development and banking including substantial experience in the high technology field. He attended Columbia University as a Kansas Scholar, John Jay Scholar and National Merit Scholar, and Rice University where he completed his MBA. In the space activism arena, he has over two decades of experience, including Senior V.P. of Marketing for "Space Travel Services Corp." (1990 to 1993), Dir. of Marketing for "Space Launch Systems, Inc." (1989 to 1990), analyst for "Space Services Incorporated of America" (1986 to 1989) and founder of "Space Capitalists". Has also held various officer positions in the "Houston Space Society". He was responsible for an initiative to put an American on the Soviet Space Station Mir using innovative marketing concepts. In the information technology field, he has been involved in the application of leading edge technology to eCommerce. In the new country development arena, he has worked with dozens of entrepreneurs on free ports and other ventures (Currently Exec. V.P. & C.F.O. of "Awdal Roads Company").

Duncan L. Bradley, PhD

Legal Consulting

Security Consultant

J.D. at U. of Denver College of Law. PhD in Philosophy, Southern Illinois University (SIU). Taught Philosophy for over 10 years at SIU, and was Faculty Advisor. Currently in private practice. Has over 18 years as trial attorney in private practice, representing clients in civil and criminal matters ranging from First Degree Murder to defense of suit brought by FDIC in regard to the collapse of the Savings and Loan Industry. Writes extensively on legal issues, philosophy, mathematics, physics, history, languages, and world liturature. Retired Police Officer. Is a licensed pilot.

Renné C. Bradley
Financial, Managment, Promotions

Over 28 years experience in the Banking Industry, holding various positions at different instituions -- ranging from Teller, to Branch Manager, to Regional Trainer to Exec. V.P. Currently Mrs. Bradley is the Manager of two Branches for Key Bank. Developed numerous programs to improve employee training, skills, and morale, along with customer relations and creative situation management. Has presented at several leadership, sales, and motivational seminars. Represented World Savings in a number of acquisitions and mergers. Corporate Team Leader for Membership Campaign for the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. Charter Member and Pres. Elect for the Arvada Civitan Club. Major in English and Interior Design at Southern Illinois Univeristy.
